A controversial documentary titled Leaving Neverland, is making its television debut on HBO this week.
The film which is directed by Dan Reed will be aired over two nights starting on Sunday, March 3 and ending on Monday March 4.
The film details on allegations of sexual abuse against the late legendary pop star, Michael Jackson.
The film will also be immediately followed by a new sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey and the film’s two accusers, James Safechuck and Wade Robson.
Here are some of the most shocking allegations made against Michael Jackson:
1.Jackson was alleged to have engaged in various and escalating sexual acts with several underage boys.
Both men, Safechuck and Robson who were both 10 and 7 years old respectively at the time, got involved in an intimate contact with Jackson. They reveal how it all started with harmless hugs and hand holding till it escalated rapidly into kissing, fondling, mutual masturbation, oral sex and then, he attempted anal sex with each of them.
Years later, Jackson was said to have introduced porn and alcohol.
Safechuck reveals in a statement:
“I remember getting really drunk,”
2. Neverland Ranch was one of two locations Michael Jackson had his illicit sexual activities with the young boys
Neverland which was Jackson’s famous California ranch had zoo animals and amusement rides. It was especially one of the key locations used in perpetrating the illicit sexual activities.
Safechuck claims that the incidents took place in diverse rooms and locations all around the property. But then, this wasn’t the only location used for the acts.
Robson and Safechuck reveal that they sometimes have had to stay the night at another apartment located along the Avenue of the Stars in Century City, Los Angeles.
3. Jackson was alleged to have distanced the victims from their immediate families.
Both men who were underage as at then, were distanced from their immediate families physically and emotionally.
Safehuck reveals:
“At the same time as the sexual relationship is growing, he’s working on pushing you away from your parents and pushing you away from everybody else and it feels more like it’s just you and him. You start to think that your parents are bad and that Michael is good.”
Robson claims:
“He started calling me son. And for me, the idea of Michael Jackson being my dad was the most incredible in the world.”
4. Jackson was alleged to have staged a mock wedding with one of his victims. He also went on to profess his love for both of the men.
Michael Jackson was able to control Safechuck with Jewelry, as he would have to perform sexual acts in order to “earn the gift.”
Safechuck also reveals that Jackson had a mock wedding ceremony in his bedroom with him, in which he pretended to exchange vows with Safechuck.
He claimed Jackson pulled out “a row of diamonds in a gold band” that Jackson gave him.
Safechuck claims that while holding hands he and Jackson would scratch the other’s palm to let them know they were thinking of each other.
“It’s just a very accepted way of expressing your love — that’s what he would say,” Safechuck says.
5. Jackson was alleged to have staged his public relationships with women.
While Jackson’s illicit sexual activities with the underage boys was ongoing, Michael Jackson had public relationships with Lisa Marie Presley and Debbie Rowe, eventually marrying and divorcing both women.
According to Safechuck, Michael Jackson only had vague relationships with women. He claims that these relationships were shams designed by Jackson.
Here is what Safechuck says about it:
“I remember Michael saying to me that he’s going to have public relationships with women so people don’t think anything. He would always say he’s going to have to go get married but it won’t mean anything,”
6. Michael Jackson was also alleged to run drills and installed alarms to avoid being detected.
Safechuck reveals that Michael Jackson had said not getting caught was “fundamental.”
He adds that Jackson would run drills with him where they’d be in the hotel room and he would act like somebody is coming in and he, Safechuck had to get dressed as fast as possible without making noise.
Safechuck claims he was the first guest to go to Jackson’s Neverland home. And he would even spend several weeks there at a time.
Safechuck’s mother would sleep in one of the guest rooms while he would stay with Jackson in the main house.
“There were bells and alarms leading up the room of the pop legend, so they knew when people were approaching.” Safechuck claims
7. Jackson was alleged to have threatened that he and his victims would be jailed if anyone found out about the illicit acts
According to Robson, Jackson would tell him that other people are ignorant and they would never understand their relationship.
Robson goes on saying that Jackson had told them ‘If other people ever found out what they were doing — about the sexual stuff, he and him would be pulled apart and never see each other again. And that they would both end up in jail for the rest of their lives.”
Safechuck also has similar report: He says;
“It was very much a secret and he would tell me that if anybody found out his life would be over and my life would be over. And that’s something he tells you over and over again,”

8. Michael Jackson was alleged to have pressured the boys to testify in defense of him.
In 1993, allegations of child sexual abuse and a civil lawsuit was filed against Michael Jackson by Jordan Chandler.
The police questioned Robson after allegations became public, and he denied any wrongdoing by the pop Singer.
According to Robson;
“[As] soon as the cops started asking me these questions, the first thing that came to mind for me was everything Michael started saying to me when I was seven — you know, if anyone ever found out that we were doing any sort of things, these sexual things, that he and I would go to jail for the rest of our lives. It was terrifying,”
Robson adds, “Jackson told me to lie, that’s what I did: I lied.”
Safechuck alleges that he was rehearsed by Jackson’s lawyers.
“They did a mock interview, kind of role-playing the policeman or lawyer. ‘We know you guys have done this. We have photos, so just tell us about it.’ ‘That’s a ploy, they don’t know, they don’t have photos so just tell them no.’ That’s the golden rule, just don’t tell them and they don’t actually know or they can’t prove it,” Safechuck says.
“He asked me to testify — there was like, a pretrial, so I went to court. I remember going in there and being very robotic. Like I said, I rehearsed it so much that it was just going through the motions. They asked and I said no, of course. Just like, part of my job, to do that for Michael,” Safechuck continues.
In 2003, there were new allegations against the late popular singer, and he was charged with molesting a child. Michael Jackson was taken to court, and he pleaded not guilty on all charges levied against him.
Safechuck revealed that during the trial, Jackson attempted to get him and his parents to testify in his own defense once again.
But when Safechuck declined, he says Jackson got really angry at him and he threatened him.
“He threatened me with his lawyers and said I had perjured myself years ago.” Safechuck recalls
Robson reveals he once worked up the courage to tell Michael “I don’t want to testify,” when he was being asked to defend Jackson.
He added he remembers there was silence on the phone for awhile.
Then the singer said;
“I know. I understand. It’s really hard to go through this with all the media and everything. But we can’t let them do this to us. We can’t let them take us down.”
Robson claims, before being subpoenaed to appear in court.
