Bride cause a stir as she refuse to kiss her husband during court wedding

A Jehovah witness bride caused a stir after she refused to follow procedures in formalizing her marriage at the Ikoyi Registry on Saturday, 17th November.

The couple had been told to formalize their marriage with a hug and kiss, which is also a norm during marriage ceremonies. Instead, the lady blatantly refused, claiming public kissing and hugging were not permitted in her church.

Her actions caused the ceremony to be delayed for quite a long time despite court officials try to explain the importance to the ceremony.
