The California wildfire that occured this year has been described as the most destructive in the history of California.
At least 31 casualties have been recorded in the heartbreaking incidence so far. Even the process of identifying missing and dead bodies have been very challenging as some of the bodies were burnt beyond recognition.
Popular actor, Gerard Butler is one of the celebrities that suffered devastating effects of the California wildfires.
He had returned with his girlfriend, Morgan Brown to his Malibu home, Saturday morning, only to see a total destruction of his home and properties.
The 48-year-old actor took to Instagram and Twitter on Sunday to share photos and captions of the devastation by the Woolsey fire.
He captioned it:
Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California.
Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LosAngelesFireDepartment.

Singer Robin Thicke is also one of the celebrities that lost homes and properties in the fire.
