Captain of the Ghanaian team, Asamoah Gyan has reportedly gone broke.
The footballer who lives a flamboyant lifestyles has records of huge deals with football clubs in the past. He spent 3 years at UAE club Al Ain after leaving Sunderland in 2012. Asamoah was paid about £200k a week at the club. He later earned £227k a week at the Chinese super League, Shanghai SIPG.
He moved to Turkey’s Kayserispor in 2017 were it seem things took turn for the worse for him. The Ghana captain is reported to be unable to feed his family.
In an interview with MyNewsGh.com, Asamoah was asked if he had any other accounts in countries he has played football, but the Ghanaian team striker answered this way:
“My front and back, up and down is that money (£600) you see there.”
It had also been reported that the footballer was divorcing his wife, Gifty Gyan back in October. He had in addition requested DNA test over the children after reportedly denying being their father.
Results of the test is being awaited in early January, 2019.
