Jussie Smollett was recently arrested for reporting a homophobic attack he staged against himself to the Chicago police. But new reports have been proving all that wrong.
It had been revealed that the alleged $3500 the Empire actor paid to the accused brothers was meant for training and not fake-attack.
Again reports are having it that If Jussie Smollett’s reason for allegedly acting out his attack was poor salary from “Empire.” producers, then FOX had no clue.
TMZ has disclosed that none of the owners of the Empire show, executive producers or Lee Daniels saw an attitude that could suggest that the actor and singer wasn’t happy with what he was getting paid.
The Empire actor is said to be presently in the middle of a long-term contract and the execs in charge of improving it have said Smollett or his reps said absolutely nothing about wanting any increment.
It was previously reported that the Chicago Police Superintendent, Eddie Johnson, recently stated that Jussie staged the crime to increase his profile on the show so he can raise his pay, and get higher episodes. But then, if indeed he was after an increased pay, no one else knew about it.
Currently, Jamal Lyon character, Jussie Smollett currently gets $125,000 per episode according to TMZ, which is same as Bryshere Y. Gray, who plays “Hakeem.” on the show.
Some bigger casts on the same show like Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard receives a whooping $250,000 for one episode.
According to the entertainment site, the actor’s recent priority has been the release of his new song. They report that he was angry over his last album flopping and became stressed out over new music and videos.
