New reports surfacing reveals that aspiring rapper, Kanye West has backed out of his US presidential aspiration. This report is coming in less than 8 weeks after he first made known of his intention to contest for the first seat of the United States.

New York Magazine’s Intelligencer disclosed that Kanye West hired campaign staff who worked with putting his name listed as a third-party candidate in several states including Florida. But they were told that the bid is off.

One of the team members, Steve Kramer revealed to New York Magazine that the rapper is out of the 2020 presidential race. Kramer admitted that the bid was no joke, as 180 people were on the ground in Florida working to get him enlisted before they decided to put it on hold.

The election strategist said:

“let [Intelligencer] know what I know once I get all our stuff canceled. I have nothing good or bad to say about Kanye,” he told the reporter.

He added, “Everyone has their personal decision about why they make decisions. Running for president has to be one of the hardest things for someone to actually contemplate at that level.”

Steve Kramer went on to reveal that he believed that Kanye’s campaign team was relentlessly working, formalizing the FEC among other things they have on their desks to do. He revealed that there was overwhelming support to get Kanye on board.

Kramer said, ‘Any candidate running for president for the first time goes through these hiccups.’

However, it had been earlier revealed that the rapper had missed the voter registeration deadline already in six states.

Kanye West already has the support of his fellow entertainers, SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, and Tesla after he came out with his intention to run for the US presidency on the 4th July.
