Power character, Michael Rainey Jr. who acts Tariq on the movie series has come out on Instagram to reveal that he woke up early to be knocked off with over three hundred (300) death threats.
As the series wound down with lots of suspense, a lot of fans are left with speculations on who could have shot and killed Ghost? As Dre and Tommy are no longer in the line, many believe that Tariq character must have murdered his father, ‘Ghost’. Ghost character is played by Omari Hardwick.

Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson who is also Power creator has stepped into the rescue of the innocent young man by beefing up security details around him.
According to MTO News; the rapper and entrepreneur, ’50 Cent is not leaving things to chances at all, he has taken steps to provide Michael with security. And an insider added that the security provided to Tariq is expected to last indefinitely.
Michael Rainey’s character is one of the most detested characters on the show. This however has no basis for the transfer of emotions from character played to the actor himself.
Speaking about his transition in an Interview with Newsweek, Michael said;
“It’s definitely some animosity. Ghost wasn’t the best father to him, to his whole family, actually. He left them. I feel like that had a really big effect on the family as a whole,”
He added;
“I see all the memes, everything, all the videos people make,” he said. “It’s cool to see how in tune people are with the TV show and my character. I don’t take what people say seriously. I laugh at it all.”
