Quality Control rapper, Lil Marlo has been reported dead after being shot in Georgia during the late hours of Saturday.
According to TMZ, Marlo died in Atlanta. And Authorities have speculated that the rapper may have been shot while driving. An official buttressed that the gunfire victim must have been the intended victim of the shootout. He also confirmed that they are working steadily to determine what may have led to the shooting.
Reports however contradict the rapper’s specific age. Some reports had claimed that Marlo was 27 when he was killed. The police and medical examiner identified him as a 30-year-old.
XXL reports that Lil Marlo was shot on a highway in Georgia in the early hours of the day. A viral video on social media reveals the car in which Marlo was killed. The vehicle was parked on a side on the highway with a small crowd around it.
Lil Yatchty, JT, and Several members of the Quality Control crew have paid their homage to the slain rapper.
Yatchy said he was with the late rapper in a studio before he was killed. Reese LAFLARE, Russ, K Camp, Yella Beezy, and Southside have also paid their respect to Marlo.
Marlo joined Quality Control in 2017. Shortly after signing on QC, rapper Marlo went on to dish out a joint project 2 with Lil Baby, The Hard Way. Some others among the list include 9th Ward God, and The Real 1.
Marlo also featured on multiple appearances on Quality Control: Control The Streets Vol. 1 and 2.
