World celebrities which include the Queen of pop, Beyoncé paid their respect to the late NBA legend, Kobe Bryant, and his daughter, Gianna during their memorial ceremony in Los Angeles.
Mourners gathered in several thousand at the Staples centre, where the world stood still for Kobe and Gigi after they met their sudden end in a helicopter crash on the 26th January 2020.
Beyonce said before her rendition:
“I’m here because I love Kobe and this was one of his favorite songs,”

The 38-year-old pop Queen, requested she doesn’t want photos of her during her performance at the ceremony.
She went on to wow the audience with her “XO” and “Halo” performance at LA’s Staples Center. Beyonce stunned in Kobe’s number 24 Lakers jersey over high-waisted jeans also layered over a white turtleneck.
Beyonce also had lots of gold and purple jewellery which are colours associated with the legend’s team, including a pair of dangling earrings and two cocktail rings.
