Speed Darlington was captured recently engaging in a duel with a commercial motorcyclist commonly referred to as Okada in Lagos, Nigeria.
Eyewitnesses claim that the fight ensued after the singer was stopped by the Okada rider even when he hadn’t reached his destination.
The video of the fight has since gone viral on social media. It reveals Speed Darlington speeding off with the Okada rider’s handbag just a few seconds into the video. It was learnt that the singer had forcefully secured it from the Okada man.

Speed Darlington has gone online to narrate his own side of the story. He disclosed in another video how he got cut by a ceiling fan while with a family friend. He also had his phone fall from him when he had the cut. He then was on his way to Computer Village to get his mobile device repaired, when he got accosted by mobile policemen who searched his bag and found Indian hemp.
The singer claimed to be shocked by this discovery. He was however slammed with a charge of Five hundred thousand Naira fee to have him freed. And after a few moments haggling the charges, they agreed on Two hundred thousand Naira. He revealed more in the video below:
The Bike Man has also revealed his own side of the story.
Contrary to Speed Darlington’s story, the Okada man said that he and the singer already agreed that he (the singer) would be delivering something enroute Lekki. This is contrary to Speed’s story, thinking the Okada man may have considered robbing him. Well, some commenters think the whole scenario may have even been staged to boost the singer’s dying career.
