TV show host, Wendy Williams was spotted out bodyguarded after it was alleged that her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter had attempted poisoning her.
Police had visited their New Jersey home to get a welfare check done on the 54-year-old star. TMZ revealed that a caller claimed to be an employee of Wendy Williams’ production company.
According to report by the police, the ‘random caller’ in early 2018 had alleged that Wendy was being poisoned by her husband.
Two officers were prompt in response to the call and went to Wendy’s New Jersey mansion to perform a ‘welfare check.’
The random caller believes Kevin Hunter was slipping Wendy something harmful, and he or she wanted cops to check on her,’ TMZ reported.
However, when Wendy was asked about the verity of the ‘poison story’, she didn’t outright deny it, saying something to effect of ‘well, I’m very popular.’
But she became tearful after being pressed by police, and still denied it.
