Reality star, Kim Kardashian has been badly dragged after she bragged about her lavish birthday celebrations in the heat of the pandemic. Many think her move is very insensitive.
Kim showed off on social media how she surprised her “inner circle” with a holiday on a private Island, just so they could act like everything was normal despite the ravaging pandemic.
She came up to reveal how she is humbly reminded of the privileges she has had in her life and also shared nice photos from the birthday trip but she least expected what came after. Kim got badly trolled for her throwing caution into the wind despite the ongoing pandemic to have a lavish birthday celebration.
The reality star wrote on her social media pages:
“Before Covid, I don’t think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment.
”After two weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.
“We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realise that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is.”
Many of her followers came out to advise that she keeps news of her birthday vacation private to her inner circle as a lot of people are suffering from the ravaging virus, hence, it is a bad timing.
