Lady Gaga was recently with Oprah Winfrey during her 2020 tour, where she revealed shocking rape experience she repeatedly had as a teenage girl.
The interview which went on during the debut of Oprah’s 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus Tour, had the entertainer give shocking information about how she was forcefully and repeatedly raped by a nineteen-year-old boy she knew. But then, She avoided seeking therapy for the trauma she went through. And that was even when her career began to peak.
Lady Gaga opened up during the interview. She said:
“I all of a sudden became a star and was traveling the world going from hotel room to garage to limo to stage, and I never dealt with it, and then all of a sudden I started to experience this incredible intense pain throughout my entire body that mimicked the illness I felt after I was raped,”
Oprah who couldn’t with old her emotions said:
“Can I tell you, you were so amazing,”
Oprah went on dishing out praises to Gaga for the courage she had in managing her life despite the trauma she experienced following her recurrent rape experiences.
“You were so good.” Oprah said. “You were so vulnerable. You were so truthful. You were so real!” she added.
The talk show host seem to become even more emotional as she continued:
“I couldn’t even believe you were doing that! I was like, am I hearing correctly? Oh my god, you were so real, so good, so strong, so you.”
