Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather’s boyfriend, NBA YoungBoy’s was reported to have had things going on with his babymama, Lapattra Jacobs at his residence in Houston when Iyanna got to the scene and requested Jacobs exit. Both parties got into an altercation that led into Jacob being stabbed by Iyanna with a kitchen knife.
Jacob was rushed to a nearby hospital and had emergency surgery done on her arms. The retired boxer’s daughter has however since being arrested and booked into Harris County Jail.
Reports by The Blast reveal that Mayweather is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. And the felony is said to be capable of commanding quite a heavy sentence on the young woman if convicted.
She could be dazed with a $10,000 fine or be sentenced behind bars for up to 99 years!
But since Iyanna doesn’t have a criminal history, it doesn’t look like such sentence would ever come into play.
Mayweather may also be privileged to be represented by an attorney who has had first grade record. Attorney Kurt Schaffer, has worked for numerous celebrities around the. They include J Prince, slim Thug, Pimp C and many others.
Kurt Schaffer revealed in an interview with Bossip;
“Iyanna is doing fine; although she remains shaken by this unfortunate incident,”
Schaffer also reported that Iyanna Mayweather is reported to be due back in court in August and she is expected to plead not guilty to the charge.
He added that he expects her to be “fully vindicated”.
